Hitec Products Mistral Home grabs yellow after stage 2 in "Tour de Free State".

Emma Johansson takes lead after two consecutive 2nd places in South Africa

The team is now in South Africa, and after the first 2 stages, Swedish Emma Johansson finished second on both, yesterday in a small group of three and today in a larger sprint. Yesterday Alona Andruk (Ukraine) won and today the stage winner was Laura v.d Kamp (Dolmans Bools). With a small margin, Emma leads the race and is eager to keep it this way.
Tomorrow will be a rest day with regrouping of the riders, and last 2 stages will go Saturday and Sunday.
Earlier this month, Hitec Products Mistral Home took their first stage race win (and stage win) with Norwegian Emilie Moberg in China.
This race is the last olympic qualifying race for us, and our team have now several potential olympic candidates. Only Emma is so far definitely selected by its own country.
